6. Invest in Family and Friends
I’ll never want to be on top when I am alone with no friends and families beside me to enjoy my achievements. Take time out to spend with the people who mean something to you because they will be the one who are with you when you’re hitting your milestones
7. Adding value to others
Life is too short to live for yourself. Set aside time to add value to the people around you in any way you can. There are people out there who will benefit from your listening ear, from learning through your life stories and experiences so start right now because you’ll never know how they can minister to you as well.
8. Improve your physical health
With a fit and healthy body, you can run this race further. Investing in your physical health by eating well, sleeping well and exercising is the best investment you can have. With the Coronavirus around, we see how life can be so fragile. Every casualty makes me think how much more we should treasure our life. Make your physical health a priority today!
9. Set aside time to reflect and evaluate
Time passes by like a flash of light. Before you know it, the day has come to an end. The month has come to an end. You may be half way through the year. Our mind is meant to process thoughts and not so much to store memories. Cultivate this habit by reflecting and evaluating your day or week with a journal and you’ll be surprised how much precious lessons we have missed out by living our day aimlessly.
10. Making room for God
All that achievements I have now all belong to God. I am unable to do it by myself with my own strength. By setting aside time for God every day helps me to draw back my priorities on what matters most in life. This habit of quiet time has reminded me of my purpose and destiny every day and that everything I do or every decision I make should be aligned to my purpose in life. Without a purpose in life, you will find me saying Yes to every opportunity that comes my way. By spending time with God, I am able to determine what is from Him and what is not.
